Top Gear needed a TVR Tuscan for Richard Hammonds "Hammond drives the Icons" series in this months Top Gear magazine so they requested the use of Racing Green TVRs FFF demonstrator. This TVR Tuscan has the fabulous FFF engine, Syvecs Engine Management and AST shock absorbers to show how great a TVR can be when well fettled.
After many laps of the Top Gear circuit Richard was left hugely impressed by the Racing Green modified 4.0 litre TVR and said that this was how TVRs should have left the factory at Blackpool. Describing the FFF engined TVR as "really rather brilliant" he was left in no doubt that the Racing Green modified TVR was a significant upgrade to the standard car adding power, driveability and reliability.
Describing the TVR Tuscan he stated;-
"Essentially, then, this is RGC's view of how the Tuscan should have been in the first place. And it does feel, straightaway, really rather brilliant."
