High performance head gaskets for the TVR Speed 6 engine

Racing Green TVR can now supply high performance multi-layer steel head gaskets for the TVR Speed 6 engine. These MLS gaskets are available for both the 3.6 and 4.0 litre Speed 6 engine and offer extreme high performance and durability. MLS head gaskets are comprised of at least three layers of stainless steel. The outer layers are an embossed Viton coated stainless steel providing a superior seal with excellent rebound characteristics and are corrosive resistant. MLS head gaskets reduce bore distortion and withstand extreme cylinder pressures. These head gaskets have a 0.001" thick layer of viton on the stainless steel gasket which provides the sealing element against extreme combustion chamber pressures. There are no composite elements to these head gaskets.
Racing Green TVR stock these MLS gaskets in 0.080" thickness but they can be supplied from 0.60" to 0.100" thick and as such can be used to reclaim cylinder heads and blocks that have to be heavily machined to ensure they are true. Due to the Viton coating these gaskets should be fitted dry and without the use of any other sealants. Adding an additional sealer can hinder the performance of this high performance MLS head gasket.
