Racing Green TVR has developed a lightweight flywheel for the TVR AJP V8 engined cars. This flywheel have been designed to be a direct replacement for the standard Cerbera V8 flywheel but offering significant performance advantages due to the decreased weight. The flywheel is fully machined from solid with integral ring gear and triggering ring for crankshaft sensor. The integral ringgear prevents possible problems relating to ringgear slipping on the main body of the flywheel or in extreme cases coming off and/or breaking. This lightweight flywheel is designed for the standard AP twin clutch assembly and is some 2kg lighter than the original. If you are having a replacement clutch fitted to your TVR why not fit one of these flywheels and benefit from the increased performance? Early TVR Cerberas 4.2 had a different flywheel, clutch pack and operating system but this flywheel can be used as part of the upgrade conversion to the later specification clutch design.
