Racing Green TVR has developed 2 new lightweight flywheels for the TVR Speed 6 engined cars. These flywheels have been designed to be a direct replacement for the standard flywheel but offering significant performance advantages due to the decreased weight. These flywheels are fully machined from solid with integral ring gear and triggering ring for crankshaft sensor. The integral ringgear prevents possible problems relating to ringgear slipping on the main body of the flywheel or in extreme cases coming off and/or breaking. There are 2 flywheels currently available, one for the standard AP twin clutch assembly which is some 2kg lighter than the original, and one for more performance orientated customers. This latter flywheel takes a 7 1/4" twin plate racing clutch assembly from the likes of AP or Superclutch and is more focussed on track day use or race work. If you are having a replacement clutch fitted to your TVR why not fit one of these flywheels and benefit from the increased performance?
