Racing Green TVR and Omex have formed a technical partnership to develop the high specification OMEX 710 engine management ECU to run the TVR Speed 6 engine. This ECU is the current flagship of OMEXs stable and offers significant benefits over the standard, now obsolete, MBE management system. The OMEX 710 will run sequential injection for up to 12 cylinder engines so is very capable of running the TVR Speed 6 engine significantly better than the MBE. This engine management system is now fully incorporated into Racing Green TVRs Tuscan demonstrator and is already offering benefits such as idle speed control, current OE Bosch injectors, reduced number of engine sensors, better power, emissions and driveability. The OMEX 710 is fitted as a complete replacement ECU not a "piggyback" setup so can be considered as a direct replacement for failed MBE ECUs. This replacement OMEX 710 ECU kit is available exclusively through Racing Green TVR. This is one of the few "Type Approved" ECUs on the aftermarket and as such is significantly more proven than some of its counterparts. This demonstrator will be available on the 28th February 2009 for the Racing Green TVR Open Day where the FFF engine is being launched.
