Racing Green TVR has managed to get a quantity of throttle bodies for the TVR Speed 6 engine. These throttle bodies are bare brand new castings and are the latest version with the machining to allow the fitting of teflon throttle shaft bushes which help eliminate air leaks and wear. The throttle body design was changed in late 2004 and the new bush design was added to the machining drawings. Most 2005 cars onwards will therefore be of the later better design. They also benefit from the 12mm internal injector bore and larger servo machining. These new castings are available as full engine sets with bushes and allow the transfer of all the components from the existing bodies resulting with an as new set of throttle bodies benefitting from the latest bushing design.
